somewhere in the beginning of our marriage,
i found this recipe for a marinade.
it has been used for 6+ years now,
and i have no plans to retire it any time soon.
we used it for our kabobs this week,
and it reminded me how much i enjoy it
(and the kabobs were just so pretty)
so i decided to share:

5 T. lemon juice
3 T. soy sauce
1/8 t. pepper
1 t. basil
2 cloves garlic

(i also LOVE to add honey when it will work!!)
